This bridge provides four lanes of two-way 3.5 meters wide with two lanes of 2.75 meters wide emergency. The bridge also provides a special lane for motorcyclists each side of the bridge.
  • Overpass
Causeway overpass or bridge construction is built to connect the road through the shallow waters on both sides. This highway consists of 36 spans along the 1458 meters at the side of Surabaya and 45 spans along the 1818 meters at the side of Madura. Construction of this highway using PCI buffer with a length of 40 meters per span is supported on the foundation of the steel pipe 60 cm in diameter.
  • The Bridge
Bridge or bridge approach bridge connecting the main highway. The bridge consists of two parts each with a length of 672 meters. This bridge uses concrete box construction buffer along 80 meters per span with 7 spans each side of the supporting foundation supported 180 cm in diameter.
  • The main bridge
The main bridge or bridge consists of three parts: two side spans 192 feet long and one 434 meter long main span. The main bridge using a cable stayed construction is supported by the twin towers as high as 140 meters. Bridges using composite floor construction thickness of 2.4 meters. To accommodate cruise ships across the Strait of Madura, the bridge provides a free space as high as 35 meters above sea level.
